About This Product
This 3M Pro Grade Precision Sanding Sponge 80-Grit 4-1/2 in. x 2-7/8 in. x 1 in. Dual Angle is an 80-grit medium block, 4-1/2 in. x 2-7/8 in. x 1 in., made with aluminum oxide mineral on durable foam. Both long sides are angled, so you can drive the sponge into inside corners, along bead returns and into crevices where a square block bottoms out before the abrasive reaches the joint. The 80-grit medium cut is for the first hand pass — knocking down ridges, trowel lines and heavy compound build-up before stepping to a finer sponge. Use it wet or dry on drywall, and rinse it clean to reuse.
