PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
The SDS-PLUS Carbide Drill Bit, 1/2 in. x 12 in., 4-Cutter is equipped with solid carbide heads that provide up to 5 times longer lifespan when used on concrete containing rebar. Designed with rebar guards for enhanced durability in tough aggregates and rebar. The 4-Cutter bits feature sharp centering tips for precise spot drilling in both concrete and metal decking. The 4-cutter configuration helps prevent lock-up when encountering rebar, minimizing downtime. The variable flutes efficiently expel dust, lowering heat and allowing for up to 20% more holes per battery charge. A wear mark indicator alerts users when the bits have reached the end of their usable life, indicating when they no longer comply with ANSI standards. The 4-Cutter Drill Bits are perfect for applications involving concrete with rebar and masonry work.
