About This Product
The Sheet Metal Screws #7 1/2 in Hex Head Hex Carbon Steel (50-Pack) is the top choice for sheet metal screws among professionals. Its distinctive thread design and quality-controlled manufacturing highlight the advantage. The advanced heat treatment process used enables the screw to taper to a fine, sharp point while maintaining essential point strength. A single starting thread extends all the way to the tip of the point, providing with its remarkable penetrating ability. Once initial penetration occurs, a second thread above the point engages, allowing the screw to drill in at double the speed. screws drive faster and can secure heavier gauges of sheet metal more effectively than any other self-piercing type.
