PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
The Leviton Single Pole Switch 15 Amp, White Decora Edge controls a lighting load on and off from one location using a standard Decora rocker paddle. The device is gloss white thermoplastic, measures 4.56 in. high by 1.78 in. wide by 1.01 in. deep, and is rated 15 A at 120/277-Volt. Instead of terminal screws it uses color-coded lever connectors sized for 12 or 14 gauge solid or stranded copper: open the lever, push the conductor in, and close the door until it clicks. There are no exposed metal parts, so the device does not need to be taped before it is folded into the box, and test openings let a circuit tester reach the terminals after trim. It is a straightforward replacement for a standard single-pole switch in kitchens, bedrooms, living spaces and any other room served by a single control point.
