About This Product
The Lutron Smart Switch 5A for All Bulb Types or Fans Neutral Wire Required White PD-5ANS-WH-R Caseta is an in-wall smart switch that turns lighting or fans on and off from the wall, from the free Lutron app, or by voice. It is a single-pole, hardwired 120 V device rated for up to 600 W of incandescent, halogen, ELV or MLV load, 5 A of LED or CFL, or 3.0 A of ceiling or exhaust fan load, and it switches all common bulb types including incandescent, halogen, LED, CFL and xenon. A neutral wire is required, and the switch replaces an existing switch in a standard wall box in as little as 15 minutes. Remote and app control require the Caseta Smart Hub, which also enables schedules, seasonal adjustment and the Smart Away feature that cycles lights while you are out. Pairing a Pico wireless remote adds 3-way control without cutting in a second box or pulling additional wire.
