About This Product
This ClarkDietrich Track 3-5/8 in. x 10 ft. 20-Gauge EQ Galvanized Steel ProTRAK 20 is a 20-gauge EQ galvanized steel drywall framing track measuring 3-5/8 in. wide by 10 ft. long. Track is the U-shaped channel that runs along the floor and the underside of the deck or ceiling to receive the studs; it sets the line of the wall and holds the studs top and bottom. It is fastened to the slab or deck along the snapped layout line, then 3-5/8 in. ProSTUD studs are dropped into it, plumbed and screwed or crimped to the track legs. Matching the track width to the stud width keeps the wall square and the flanges in plane for drywall. Use it for non-load-bearing interior partitions and furred walls.
