About This Product
This ClarkDietrich Wall Framing Stud 3-5/8 in. x 8 ft. 20-Gauge EQ Galvanized Steel is a 20-gauge EQ galvanized steel drywall framing stud with a 3-5/8 in. web, a 1-1/4 in. flange and an 8 ft. length, cut for standard 8 ft. ceiling walls. It is used with matching 3-5/8 in. ProTRAK track as part of the ProSTUD drywall framing system. A diamond embossment in the web stiffens the section so the flanges stay true and screws set cleanly instead of spinning out during board hanging. On the job the stud seats inside the floor and head track, is plumbed on layout, and is fastened to the track legs before drywall goes up. It suits non-load-bearing interior partitions, closet and chase walls, and furring in remodel and light commercial work.
