Unfaced fiberglass insulation provides a range of R-values and delivers effective thermal and sound control. This unfaced, versatile insulation roll is ideal for minor projects or repairs. It is excellent for filling small gaps around doors, windows, HVAC systems, and plumbing. Being unfaced and lacking a vapor retarder, it can be added to existing insulation. Unfaced rolls are suitable for new construction, renovations, walls, floors, ceilings, basements, attics, and crawlspaces, and can be used with either wood or steel stud framing. They may be paired with a separate vapor retarder when moisture management is necessary. This insulation consists of bonded glass fibers that maintain their shape and will not slump, settle, or deteriorate during typical usage.
