The 1/2 in. Brass PEX-A Barb x 1/2 in. Male Pipe Thread Ball Valve is an ideal solution for transitioning from an existing piping system to PEX-A piping systems. Its installation is straightforward, and it offers flow control via a smooth-operating quarter-turn lever handle that prevents sticking. Barb fittings are essential components of one of the most cost-effective potable water piping systems available. Additionally, they can be integrated into hydronic heating systems, but couplings must be secured using sleeves or similar expansion-type sleeves or rings (all sold separately). The system is a complete piping solution that includes lead-free brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools, and tubing, designed for use in both simple and complex water delivery systems. A cold-expansion tool (sold separately) is necessary for installation.
