Type RWA (Reduced Wall Aluminum) Flexible Metal Conduit is appropriate for power and lighting branch circuit conductors and cables used to connect receptacles, luminaires, equipment, office partitions, and more. It can also serve as a metal raceway for wires and cables, motor feeders, and branch and control circuit conductors and cables. This conduit supports Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 remote-control, signaling, and power-limited circuit conductors and cables. Additional uses include fire alarm system conductors and cables for both power-limited and non-power-limited fire alarm circuits, as well as voice, data, communications, and video cables including CATV and optical fiber cables, and electric signs and outline lighting.
