PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 1.75 oz. number 5 pipe thread sealant is perfect for lubricating and safeguarding threaded joints on metal, PVC, CPVC, polyethylene, and reinforced fiberglass pipes. It is not advisable to use with ABS, CPVC pipe, or with oxygen, chlorine, and other oxidizing agents. This sealant is suitable for drinking water and various fluids and gases.
• Application: for pipes made of galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, reinforced fiberglass, and PVC; do not use on ABS or CPVC.
• Lubricates and safeguards threaded joints on metal, PVC, CPVC, polyethylene, and reinforced fiberglass pipes.
• Soft setting, slow drying, and will not dry out while stored in the can.
• Allows for immediate pressurization on pipes up to 2 inches and 100 psi.
• Free of lead and other metals, enabling easy disassembly without harming the threads.
• Brushable at temperatures ranging from 20°F to 140°F, for pressures up to 12,000 psi (liquids) and 2,600 psi (gases).
