The 4 oz. Pipe Thread Sealant is a slow-drying, soft-setting sealant designed for pipe threads that provides lubrication and safeguards threaded connections. This sealant is ideal for various types of threaded metals, such as PVC, CPVC, polyethylene, and reinforced fiberglass pipe. It can be pressurized right away.

• Application: suitable for pipes made from galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, reinforced fiberglass, and PVC; not recommended for ABS or CPVC.

• Provides lubrication and protection for threads, suitable for use with drinking water (both hot and cold).

• Soft-setting, slow-drying formula that will not harden in the container.

• Can be pressurized immediately on pipes up to 2 inches and 100 psi.

• Free of lead and other metals, allowing for easy disassembly without harming the threads.

• Can be applied in temperatures ranging from 20°F to 140°F, and withstands pressures up to 12,000 psi (for liquids) and 2,600 psi (for gases).
