The 1/2 in. Brass PEX-A Barb Ball Valve with Drain and mounting pad is easy to install and offers flow regulation via a quarter turn lever handle that operates smoothly and resists sticking. The single lever control with a quarter turn enables straightforward management of water flow in both hydronic and potable water systems, while the side vent facilitates the release of air or water during testing, repairs, or weatherization tasks. Additionally, this valve can be integrated into hydronic heating systems, but must be secured using sleeves or similar expansion-type sleeves or rings (all sold separately). The system is an all-inclusive piping solution made up of lead-free brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools, and tubing, suitable for both simple and complex water delivery systems. A cold-expansion tool (sold separately) is necessary for installation.
