The newly engineered stainless steel collet retainer enhances strength and durability, achieving a pressure rating of 400 PSI. Max fittings do not need a PEX tube liner, and an improved body design enables easier pipe insertion with less effort. There is no need for soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or any specialized tools. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth secure it firmly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to form a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated post-installation for quick adjustments, and removing it is equally quick with a disconnect tool, allowing for the replacement or reuse of fittings and valves.
