Anchor 1/2 in. x 5-1/2 in. (25-Pack)

The anchor stud is manufactured through a cold forming process and features a threaded portion with standard coarse bolt threads on one end, while the other end has a parabolic mandrel designed for smoother expansion. It includes a 360-degree, single-piece clip that operates as a two-piece clip to enhance contact, allows for torque-controlled expansion, and is suitable for installation in a bottomless hole. There are three available head styles: Hex Nut, Wire Hanger, and Tie Down Hook. Over 39 sizes can be selected, offered in two materials: Carbon steel and 304 Stainless steel. Approvals include UL.

• Drill a suitably sized hole in the base material

• Clean the hole using a dust blower or compressed air

• Position the nut with a 1/8 in. clearance from the anchor's top

• Using a hammer or light mass, drive the anchor into the hole

• Take off the nut and insert the object to be secured

• With a wrench, turn the nut clockwise to tighten until strong resistance is felt (2 to 3 turns will completely set the anchor)
