This fitting is specifically made for ASTM B88 and B75 copper tubing, facilitating a seamless transition between varying tube sizes. The press connections enable a rapid and effective installation of this reducer. Unlike conventional pipe fittings, there's no requirement for calibration, flame, or heavy machinery. Instead, copper reducers can be installed in just four simple steps: cut the copper tube to the desired length, eliminate any burrs and surface flaws, measure and mark the depth for fitting insertion, and utilize a press tool to secure the reducer for a reliable connection. The Smart Connect technology detects unpressed connections during pressure tests to guarantee proper connections on the first attempt, minimizing the need for callbacks.
