Max push-to-connect ball valves represent the quickest and simplest method for installing a new or replacement water shut-off valve. The newly engineered stainless steel collet retainer offers enhanced strength and durability, achieving a pressure rating of 250 psi. Max fittings and valves do not need a PEX tube liner, and the redesigned body enables easier pipe insertion with less force. The single lever quarter turn handle facilitates rapid control of water flow, particularly in confined areas. There is no need for soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or specialized tools. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth securely grip the pipe while a specially designed O-ring compresses around it to form a watertight seal. The valve can be rotated post-installation for quick adjustments, and it can be removed just as easily with a disconnect tool, allowing for replacement or reuse.
