Max push-to-connect fittings offer the quickest method for connecting PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT pipes. The newly engineered stainless steel collet retainer enhances strength and durability, boasting a pressure rating of 400 PSI. These fittings do not need a PEX tube liner, and the redesigned body allows for easier insertion of the pipe with less effort. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are necessary. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth clamp down tightly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to form a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated post-installation for easy adjustments, and removal is just as quick with a disconnect tool, enabling fittings and valves to be swapped or reused.
