Max push-to-connect fittings offer the quickest method to switch from existing polybutylene piping to PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT pipes. The newly engineered stainless steel collet retainer enhances strength and durability, achieving a pressure rating of 400 PSI. These fittings do not need a PEX tube liner, and the redesigned body allows for easier pipe insertion with less effort. There’s no need for soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or specialized tools. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth securely grip the pipe while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around it, forming a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated post-installation for quick adjustments, and removing it is just as simple with a disconnect tool, enabling fittings and valves to be swapped or reused.
