These standard bolts work well with standard nuts and washers that have the same thread pitch, grade, and finish. Instead of using nuts, hex bolts can alternatively be inserted directly into a matching female threaded opening. They need a pre-drilled or pre-tapped hole that has a compatible female thread. Nylon is effective at resisting vibrations.
