Just insert the pipe, and the teeth will grip firmly while a specially designed O-ring compresses to form a watertight seal. Adjustments can be made easily by turning the fitting after it has been installed. Detaching the fitting is equally quick with a disconnect tool, allowing for simple changes or reuse of fittings and valves.
