The provides a cost-effective solution for applications that need a sloped hanger for connections between rafters and ridges. When used with solid sawn rafters, the distinctive design allows for installation either prior to or after the rafter is secured. The adjustable seat in the field enhances job efficiency by resolving angle mismatches on site and reducing delays linked to special orders. Delivers a load capacity that is similar to or exceeds that of other rafter hangers while being more affordable and requiring fewer fasteners.
• The open design and the capacity for field slope adjustment make it suitable for both retrofitting and new installations.
• Supports roof pitches ranging from 0:12 to 14:12.
• Can slope upwards or downwards to 45 degrees (12:12) - for slopes exceeding 45 degrees and up to 49 degrees (14:12), the allowable loads are 0.85 of the table loads.
• To enhance versatility, the fasteners on the hanger's face are positioned high, allowing the bottom of the rafter to extend below the ridge beam.
• Suitable for nominal rafter sizes: 2x6, 2x8.
• Seat width measures 1-9/16 inches.
• Constructed from 18-gauge steel.
