This 21.5 cu. in. ceiling fan brace with a 2-1/8 in. box is perfect for new builds or remodels, allowing you to safely install your ceiling fan or light fixture without needing attic access. Ideal for both new construction and remodeling projects, this brace can be installed in finished ceilings through a 4 in. hole. The brace’s multiple teeth easily grip and lock into ceiling joists, its threaded twin-lead screw adjusts quickly, and the hex tube makes turning simple. Additionally, the electrical box can be positioned anywhere on the brace to suit your project requirements. This brace fits existing ceiling joists that are between 16 in. and 24 in. wide. The Ceiling Fan Brace includes all necessary installation components and easy-to-follow instructions. It is UL listed to support light fixtures up to 150 lbs. on 16 in. centers and up to 50 lbs. on 24 in. centers, and it supports fans up to 70 lbs.
