The HUC-series hangers feature extra optional triangle holes for additional load and are tested, load rated, and code compliant. They install wood joists to wood, masonry, and concrete. With a seat width of 3-9/16-in and accommodating nominal joist sizes of 4x4, they are made from 14-gauge steel and galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance. Installation requires 0.162 in. x 3-1/2 in. nails in the header and 0.148 in. x 3 in. nails in the joist.
