The HUS-series hangers can be installed after the beam is secured in place and cannot be modified. They are tested, load rated, and code compliant, with a seat width of 1-5/8-in and suitable for nominal joist sizes of 2x6. Made from 16-gauge steel, they are galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance. Install with 0.162 in. x 3-1/2 in. nails or #10 x 2-1/2 in. Strong-Drive SD screws.
