Metal Strap Hurricane Tie Galvanized 18-Gauge H2.5A

The H2.5A single-sided hurricane tie is intended to withstand moderate loads at the connection between the rafter or truss and the top plate. As part of a continuous load path, the H2.5A is capable of resisting both lateral and uplift forces. Its symmetrical design removes the necessity for distinct right and left components.

• Embossed lines along the bend enhance the strength of the connection

• The top flange includes an arrow line indicator to assist with proper installation

• Constructed from 18-gauge steel

• Galvanized (G90) for added resistance to corrosion

• Can be installed using (10) 0.131-in x 2-1/2-in nails or (10) #9 x 1-1/2-in screws

• Can also be installed with 8d common nails or 9 x 1-1/2 in. screws
