The SDS screws provide a lower profile than standard through bolts. Certified welds ensure strength and loading confidence, and uplift loads are increased for earthquake or wind loading. Diamond holes are included for temporary fastening. Suitable for nominal 6x beam and 6x post sizes, it is made from 7-gauge steel with a Simpson Strong-Tie gray paint finish. Install with 1/4 in. x 2-1/2 in. Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws (included).
