This post base embeds in wet concrete after the pour and installs flush with the concrete surface. An embossment in the seat of the base provides increased strength, and stress relief holes under the base resist tearing during loading. Suitable for nominal 4x4 posts, it is made from 12-gauge steel with a ZMAX galvanization for extra corrosion resistance. Install with 16d common nails.
