Post Base for 4x4 Nominal Lumber, Avant Collection ZMAX Black Powder-Coated Outdoor Accents

Designed to meet stringent building codes for seismic or high-wind events, this post base is slotted for adjustability and features a 1-inch standoff to help prevent rot at the post end. Suitable for nominal 4x4 posts, it is made from 16-gauge steel with a base of 12-gauge. The ZMAX galvanization with a black powder coat offers extra corrosion resistance. Outdoor Accents side plates are available (see APVBDSP). Install with Outdoor Accents structural screws (SDWSDBB) and STN22 hex-head washers (sold separately).
