Designed to meet stringent building codes for seismic or high-wind events, this post base is slotted for adjustability and features a 1-inch standoff to help prevent rot at the post end. Suitable for nominal 6x6 posts, it is made from 12-gauge steel with ZMAX galvanization and a black powder coat for extra corrosion resistance. Outdoor Accents side plates are available (see APVBDSP). Install with Outdoor Accents structural screws (SDWSDBB) and STN22 hex-head washers (sold separately).
