Standoff Post Base for 4x6 Nominal Lumber, Galvanized PBS

This post base embeds in wet concrete after the pour and installs flush with the concrete surface. An embossment in the seat of the base provides increased strength, and stress relief holes under the base resist tearing during loading. It features a 1-inch standoff height, reducing the potential for decay at post and column ends. Suitable for nominal 4x6 posts, the base is made from 12-gauge steel, and the strap from 14-gauge steel with a galvanized (G90) finish for extra corrosion resistance. Install with 16d common nails or 1/2 in. diameter bolts.
