The 3/4 in. Brass PEX-A Barb x 3/4 in. Solder Ball Valve is an ideal choice for transitioning from a copper piping system to PEX-A systems. Its installation is straightforward, and it allows for flow regulation via a quarter turn lever handle that operates smoothly and resists sticking. Barb fittings are essential for creating one of the most cost-effective potable water piping systems. Additionally, they can be integrated into hydronic heating systems, but couplings must be properly secured using sleeves or similar expansion-type sleeves or rings (all sold separately). The system is a complete piping solution featuring lead-free brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools, and tubing designed for use in both simple and complex water delivery systems. A cold-expansion tool (sold separately) is necessary for installation.
