Bronze Pressure Regulating 3/4 in. PTC x PTC PSI-400

Pressure regulating valves are engineered to lower incoming water pressure to a safe level, safeguarding plumbing components. They also assist in preventing pressure spikes from the main line from affecting the household. Elevated pressure can lead to harm to appliances and plumbing fixtures. A pressure regulator should be placed after the main line to provide protection for the plumbing system. The Slip EB-45 is a half-cartridge pressure reducing and regulating valve constructed from lead-free bronze. This valve features a design similar to traditional regulators, incorporating a spring chamber and an adjustment screw, while delivering superior performance typical of cartridge-based valves. Equipped with a connection system, the EB-45 can be installed using a push-fit connection compatible with any combination of Copper or CPVC Pipe. The Slip feature facilitates the straightforward replacement of an existing valve and accommodates a lay length of 5.25 inches. For installation, remove the current valve, deburr the pipe, slide the slip onto the pipe, and utilize a demount clip to slide the fitting back onto the other end of the pipe, completing the connection. With the connection system, the EB-45 can be installed using a push-to-connect method suitable for any combination of Copper, CPVC, or PEX Pipe.
