This 600-Volt, grounded, jacketed NM-B cable is mainly used in residential electrical systems, including branch circuits for outlets, switches, and similar applications. It can be installed in both exposed and hidden areas in typically dry environments and within air spaces of masonry blocks or tile walls that aren't exposed to excessive moisture. It is also suitable for installation in areas with temperatures reaching up to 90°C, although the ampacity is restricted to that of 60°C conductors. The additional circuit is primarily intended for residential wiring to supply outlets located in bedrooms and other spaces.
