Brass pipe nipples are constructed from solid, lead-free brass material and feature male tapered pipe threads on both ends. Brass offers high durability and is resistant to corrosion. The fitting's diameter is determined by measuring the outer diameter. This pipe fitting is easy to install and is typically utilized in low to medium pressure plumbing applications.
