This 15.3 cu. in. ceiling fan brace for new construction, featuring a 1-1/2 in. box, allows for the safe installation of ceiling fans or lighting fixtures. Perfect for new builds or areas with attic access, this brace is suitable for all ceiling fans. It's specifically designed for use with engineered trusses. The end bracket of the bar has a 90° angled lip for easy placement, and the square tube enhances the design's strength. Additionally, the electrical box can be positioned anywhere along the bar to meet your project requirements. It fits existing ceiling joists spaced between 16 in. and 24 in. apart. The bar is UL listed to support light fixtures up to 150 lbs. on 16 in. centers and 90 lbs. on 24 in. centers, and it supports fans up to 70 lbs. The ceiling fan brace comes with all necessary installation components and easy-to-follow instructions. A metal cover is included to protect bolts and wires during drywall installation and painting.
