Mortar Mix is a premium mortar suitable for vertical and overhead uses. It is perfect for situations requiring quick strength development, high durability, and minimal shrinkage. Mortar Mix is ideal for general and structural concrete repairs, stucco and plaster repairs, single-coat exterior plaster, mortar beds, underlayment, and formed work. Mortar Mix sets in 15 minutes and is ready for traffic or construction in 1 hour. It is durable in wet conditions and can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 1/2 inch to 6 inches. Mortar Mix is composed of high-performance cement and quality sand. It provides excellent resistance to chemical attacks. It is non-metallic and free of added chlorides. Mortar Mix allows repaired areas to be painted, coated, or sealed soon after application. In dry conditions, water-based coatings like latex paint can be applied once the product has hardened, typically within 1 to 4 hours. Solvent-based and impermeable coatings can be applied after 16 hours.
