Concrete Anchor 1/2 in. x 4-1/4 in. Hex Nut Head Hex (25-Pack)

The anchor is ideal for fastening heavy objects to concrete and other durable surfaces. The anchor stud is cold-formed and features standard coarse bolt threads at one end and a parabolic mandrel at the other for seamless expansion. It includes a 360° one-piece clip that operates as a two-piece clip for enhanced contact and controlled torque during expansion, and it can be placed into a hole without a bottom. There are three head styles to choose from: Hex Nut, Wire Hanger, and Tie Down Hook. More than 39 sizes are offered in two materials: Carbon steel and 304 Stainless steel. • Drill a properly sized hole in the base material

• Clean the hole using a dust blower or compressed air

• Insert the nut with a clearance of 1/8 in. from the top of the anchor

• Use a hammer or a light mass to place the anchor into the hole

• Remove the nut and insert the item to be mounted

• With a wrench, tighten the nut by turning it clockwise until you feel significant resistance (2 to 3 turns will completely secure the anchor)
