The included PVC Rain-R-Shine Medium Bodied Fast Set Blue Cement is designed for use in wet conditions and allows for rapid pressurization. Also included is Purple Primer, an NSF-listed, strong primer that eliminates surface dirt, grease, and grime; softens the pipe surface for a quick, secure solvent weld; and features a purple hue for visible confirmation that a primer has been applied, which is particularly useful in areas where plumbing codes necessitate such proof.

- The blue, low VOC, medium-bodied, fast-setting cement is suitable for solvent welding all schedules and classes of PVC pipes and fittings up to 6 inches in diameter with an interference fit.
- Rain-R-Shine solvent cement is perfect for situations where moisture is present, cures even when submerged, and sets very quickly for rapid pressurization and installation.
- The low VOC, high-performance primer complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40 standards, meets ASTM Standard F656, and adheres to NSF/ANSI 61 health effects requirements.
