About This Product
The 11.8 cu. in. Non-Metallic Ceiling Fan/Fixture Side Mount Box with Cover enables you to securely install a fan or light fixture during new builds or renovations. Made from durable plastic, this screw-mounted electrical box is compatible with any ceiling fan model. The pan is 1/2 in. deep with side storage, allowing installation on either side of the joist and on wider joists where a saddle mount box won't fit. The box supports fans up to 70 lbs. and light fixtures up to 150 lbs. The ceiling fan/fixture attaches to the wood joist, not the plastic box.
