ProLock fittings are a flexible and cutting-edge full-flow Push-to-Connect fitting, specifically designed and crafted for compatibility with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes. The user-friendly design makes it one of the easiest and most reliable fittings available. No tools are necessary to establish a connection. They incorporate a collet with stainless steel teeth that securely grips the pipe once fully inserted, along with an EPDM O-Ring that ensures a lasting, leak-proof seal. The Twist-to-lock mechanism guarantees optimal security. When twisted into position with the indicator arrows aligned, the locking cap secures the pipe firmly. Detaching the fitting is even simpler, requiring no special tools; just twist the cap counterclockwise to unlock it, then press the collet against the fitting to remove it from the pipe. ProLock fittings are appropriate for both hot and cold potable water and hydronic heating systems. They are code approved for installations behind walls.
