SIMpull NM-B (nonmetallic-sheathed) cable can be utilized for both visible and hidden installations in typically dry environments at temperatures not exceeding 90°C (with ampacity restricted to that of 60°C conductors) as outlined in the National Electrical Code. NM-B cable is mainly employed in residential wiring as branch circuits for outlets, switches, and other devices. NM-B cable can be installed in the air spaces of masonry block or tile walls, provided these walls are not wet or damp. The voltage rating for NM-B cable is 600 volts.
