The 1/2 in. Brass PEX-A Barb Ball Valve featuring a tee handle is easy to install and allows for flow regulation through a smooth-operating quarter-turn tee-style handle that resists sticking. Barb fittings are essential components of one of the most cost-effective potable water piping systems. They can also be integrated into hydronic heating systems, but valves need to be secured using sleeves or similar expansion-type sleeves or rings (all sold separately). The system is an all-inclusive piping solution made up of lead-free brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools, and tubing intended for use in both simple and complex water delivery systems. A cold-expansion tool (sold separately) is necessary for installation.
