It is perfect for use in new builds or renovations, and can be inserted into finished ceilings through a 4 in. opening. This brace is compatible with all ceiling fans, eliminating concerns about size or fit. The brace features multiple teeth that easily penetrate and secure into ceiling joists; its twin-lead screw can be quickly adjusted, and the hex tube facilitates simple turning. For added convenience, the electrical box can be placed anywhere along the brace to accommodate your project requirements. The brace is suitable for existing ceiling joists that are 16 in. to 24 in. apart. The Ceiling Fan Brace includes all necessary installation components, along with straightforward instructions. It is UL listed to support lighting fixtures weighing up to 150 lbs. on 16 in. centers and 50 lbs. on 24 in. centers, and can hold fans weighing up to 70 lbs.
